KSID Interiors, Inc was founded in 2006 by Kris Salter, IIDA. Her goal was to provide professional design services to Residential and Commercial Clients in Central IL. KSID works with home owners, business owners, architects, builders, engineers, and many other industry professionals. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, research, communicating with Clients and other industry members, construction management, and execution of the design. Our steadfast focus is to create interior environment which uniquely reflect our Client's personality and project goals.
With an Interior Design degree from Illinoi State University in 1990, Kris worked for larger national firms for many years before opening her own design firm in 2006. As our firm's creative director, Kris is a Registered Interior Designer in IL, an NCIDQ certificate holder, and a member, and former President, of the Illinois Chapter of the International Interior Design Assoc. With over 30 years in the design industry and wide-ranging achievements certainly set her firm apart.
